Here are the winners of the 2024 Toyota Gazoo Racing PH Cup

MANILA: As this year’s Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup comes to a close, the country’s premiere one-make race celebrates with the season winners who displayed both grace and pace while overcoming the challenges inside the track. 

Here are this year’s victors whose rankings were determined by the number of points collected from six sprint races and three endurance races.

Toyota Motor Philipines President Masando Hashimoto cut his trip short so he could fly back to Manila in time for the third leg of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup. 

“I wanted to meet the racers, mechanics, coaches, and motorsports fans – this is my motivation for coming back. Today is the last race weekend of the TGR Philippine Cup, which will decide the season winners, so I wanted to say congratulations to them,” he said.

The company’s figurehead has participated in all three races for the 2024 season. 

During the end-of-season awarding ceremony, Hashimoto happily greeted the racers and racing teams. 

“What an amazing Toyota Gazoo Racing season. Please give yourselves a round of applause. Congratulations!” he stated. 

“Guided by Chairman Akio Toyoda’s ‘we love cars’ spirit, we can develop Philippine motorsports for the better. Because of you, we can bring motorsports closer to more Filipinos and share with them the ‘fun to drive’ experience,” he added.

The final leg of this year’s Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup happened on November 9 at the Clark International Speedway.
