MANILA: Attendees of the first day of the 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit were treated to a lot of surprises as some of the participating brands launched their newest electric vehicle models.

    Aside from the car launches, there were also panel discussions covering topics on electrification of ride hailing, buses, urban logistics, and related services in the Philippines.

    AC Motors, Chery Auto Philippines, Diamond Auto Group, Hyundai Motor Philippines, Jetour Auto Philippines, and SAIC Motor Philippines Incorporated also had presentations of their electric vehicle technologies.

    The 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit is still ongoing until October 21 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. More panel discussions are being held today, while EV displays are available until tomorrow. Admission to the event is free.
