Honda Canada gives sneak peek of 2023 CR-V

MANILA: Honda Canada has released a walk-around video of the all-new 2023 Honda CR-V.

The 2023 Honda CR-V features an aggressive front end with larger new grille and sleek LED headlights. It is also designed with signature tail light styling.

The all-new CR-V also has an overall larger size, measuring 4,694mm long, 1,864mm wide, and 1,681mm tall. Its wheelbase is also extended to 2,700mm.

On the inside, the CR-V comes with plenty of storage compartments and cargo space. Its infotainment system can be connected to a smart device via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Some trim levels can also facilitate wireless smartphone charging and USB-C charging.

The EX and EX-L variants are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder VTEC engine that produces 190hp and 179lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to CVT.

The 2023 CR-V also comes in a hybrid variant, which is powered by an 2.0-liter Atkinson four-cylinder direct injection combined with two electric motors. The hybrid powertrain produces a total output of 204hp and 247lb-ft of torque.

Among the exclusive features of the CR-V Hybrid Touring are Touring-spec wheels, nine-inch infotainment system, leather seats, and leather-wrapped steering wheel.

All trim levels of the all-new CR-V come with the Honda Sensing suite of safety technology.

The 2023 Honda CR-V is available with front-wheel drive or Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System, which can channel 50% of engine torque to the rear wheels for better traction.

Although the arrival of the 2023 Honda CR-V in the Philippines is still quite far off, the newly published video of Honda Canada surely made every Honda fan excited to get their hands on the upcoming model.
