Pricing for the 2023 Honda BR-V ranges from P1.10 million to P1.39 million.The 2023 Honda BR-V made its Philippine debut at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show last September. The first batch of the all-new BR-V units arrived in the country last month.
Compared to its predecessor, the 2023 Honda BR-V is bigger and bolder. It measures 4,490mm in length, 1,780mm in width, and 1,685mm in height. It also has increased ground clearance of 207mm and longer wheelbase of 2,700mm. The all-new BR-V also features a new 17-inch alloy wheel design.
Driving is made more convenient with the adjustable leather-wrapped steering wheel, one-push start system, and a seven-inch touchscreen display that can be connected to a smartphone via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
Powered by a 1.5-liter double overhead cam engine, the 2023 Honda BR-V produces 119hp and 145Nm of torque. The engine is mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a new continuously variable transmission (CVT), depending on the variant.
The 2023 Honda BR-V excelled in the fuel economy run conducted in partnership with the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP). The V CVT variant achieved 24.7km/L, while the top-of-the-line VX CVT Honda Sensing variant registered 23.48km/L. The S CVT variant achieved 22.61km/L.
The 2023 Honda BR-V VX CVT variant comes standard with Honda Sensing, which offers comprehensive protection for drivers and passengers by issuing warnings and taking actions to reduce the risks of accidents. Honda Sensing includes Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS), Auto-High Beam (AHB), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF).
Last September, the 2023 Honda BR-V earned a five-star rating in the ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia). This proves Honda's commitment to safety for everyone on the road.
The 2023 Honda BR-V comes in five colors: Premium Opal White Silver Pearl, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Taffeta White.
