Honda Cars PH unveils all-new BR-V, HR-V RS variant at PIMS 2022
MANILA: Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) officially launched the all-new HR-V RS and gave a preview of the highly anticipated all-new BR-V at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).

The Honda HR-V RS is now available at all Honda Cars dealerships nationwide at P1.739 million.The all-new BR-V features a sleek, muscular design and larger dimensions that make it more appealing to Filipino customers. Since it arrived in the Philippines in 2016, the BR-V has become one of HCPI’s best-selling models. It is known for being the most powerful in its class and for providing an ample space for up to seven passengers.
The all-new HR-V RS, on the other hand, features an all-new, sportier exterior and interior design. Its exterior is designed with a Sporty Chrome Front Grille and RS Emblem with Red Amp up Logo on the lower bumper. It is also fitted with 18-inch RS Design Gray alloy wheels and LED sequential turn signal. Its looks is also enhanced by a side sill garnish with chrome, paired up with side sill garnish glossy black.
On the inside, the HR-V RS is equipped with sport pedals, shift knobs, and leather interior with red stitching. Its Variable Gear Ratio enables smoother steering and improved responsiveness and stability. The HR-V RS isalso equipped with an eight-speaker sound system, auto up/down power window for driver and front passenger, eight-way power driver seat, and dual-zone climate control airconditioning. The ULT seats and additional storage space add to the convenience delivered by the HR-V RS.
The HR-V RS is powered by a 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo engine that produces 177ps and 240Nm of torque. The engines mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The HR-V RS offers three driving modes: Econ, Normal, and Sport.
To ensure the safety of the occupants, the HR-V RS is also equipped with side curtain airbags, LaneWatch Camera, and auto rain-sensing wipers. It also comes standard with Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety features that includes Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning, Auto High-Beam, and Lead Car Departure Notification System.
Other notable features of the all-new HR-V RS include smart keyless entry, security alarm and immobilizer, all-passenger seatbelt reminder, front and side airbags, speed-sensing door locks, Isofix child seat anchors, rear seat reminder, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brake-Force Distribution, Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Descent Control, and Hill-Start Assist.
The Honda HR-V RS is now available at all Honda Cars dealerships nationwide at P1.739 million. It comes in three exterior color options: Ignite Red Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, and Premium Opal White Silver Pearl.
HCPI also presented the Honda Connect platform, which enhances the customers’ interaction with their vehicles through a smartphone app. It is designed to ensure safety, security, and convenience through its features like vehicle diagnostics, remote applications, security applications, vehicle tracking, and support services. Honda Connect is available for download in Google Play Store and App Store.
Also featured at HCPI PIMS booth are the Honda Sensing-equipped models including the all-new Civic, CR-V SX Diesel, all-new BR-V, and all-new HR-V RS. Honda aims to include Honda Sensing as a standard safety feature in all its models in the future. The CR-V SX Diesel, all-new HR-V, and all-new Civic are available for test drive during the four-day event.
An upgraded 11th-generation Civic with Modulo accessories is also featured in the display area.
PIMS attendees can also test drive the the City 1.5 RS CVT, City Hatchback 1.5 RS CVT, all-new Civic RS Turbo CVT Honda Sensing, CR-V SX Diesel 9AT AWD Honda Sensing (7-Seater), BR-V 1.5 V CVT, all-new HR-V V Turbo CVT Honda Sensing, and Brio 1.2 RS Black Top CVT. Honda assures that every unit is sanitized before and after each test drive.
