Honda launches 3rd-gen N-Box in Japan

MANILA: Honda Motor Company has begun the sales of the third-generation N-Box in Japan.

The all-new Honda N-Box features the "beauty of simple formative design." The front grille has a perforated design that is often seen in home appliances, while the headlights convey the image of human eyes from any angle. These features give the N-Box a sense of simplicity and familiarity.

On the inside, the all-new N-Box gives off a vibe of a homey living room, with the instrument panel tray with cork-like visual and tactile qualities. It is also equipped with a seven-inch LCD meter that is easy to read and understand.

Two engine types are available for the all-new Honda N-Box: a naturally aspirated engine with VTEC intake valve control and a turbocharged engine with an electric wastegate. These engines are mated to continuously variable transmission.

The all-new N-Box also comes standard with Honda Connect, a communication module that gives users a seamless connection with their vehicle through a smartphone app. A navigation system compatible with Honda Connect is available as an option.

Safe and convenient driving is also guaranteed as the all-new N-Box is equipped with Honda Sensing, which includes advanced driver-assistive technologies such as collision mitigation braking system, lead car departure notification system, pedestrian collision mitigation steering system, road departure mitigation system, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist system, low speed brake function, unintended acceleration mitigation, parking sensor system, and more.

The all-new Honda N-Box is also available in wheelchair-accessible models for persons with disabilities. These models come with an electric wheelchair winch with speed adjustment and course correction functions.

Pricing for the all-new Honda N-Box ranges from ¥1,648,900 to ¥2,362,800 (approximately P628,600 to P900,900).
