Honda PH releases upgraded PM2.5+ cabin air filter

MANILA: Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has introduced an upgraded PM2.5+ cabin air filter for its vehicles. This latest offer is essential during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as it guarantees high protection from dreadful viruses and bacteria.

“Now more than ever, people have a renewed appreciation for health and clean air. To help with the nagging fight against the pandemic, as well as asthma and other respiratory illnesses, responsible vehicle owners take it upon themselves to ensure that their cars are well maintained for these reasons as well. For Honda’s part, this latest PM2.5+ cabin air filter provides 90 to 99% protection from dreadful viruses and bacteria." HCPI said in a statement. "The dust-collecting filter has high collection efficiency for various kinds of particles such as dust, molds, volcanic ash, outside emissions, and cigarette smoke,” 

The new PM2.5+ cabin air filter helps improve a vehicle’s interior air quality by filtering out external and internal pollutants. It also comes with a new anti-microbial coating that develops a fast eliminating reaction on viruses and bacteria. It releases reactive oxygen (ROS) which enables germidical effect in the coating’s proximal area and prevents microbial adhesion on the surface of the filter, making it clean from future contaminants.
