Honda Philippines could probably welcome Green Cars
MANILA: Honda is a brand that everyone can relate with utmost delight, they have been into the automobile industry from past 67 years. Having its aura globally, it has always manufactured swanky cars with the most sophisticated features in place. Honda holds its head high by reserving the 8th position, in being one of the largest automobile producer. Its key area of function had been into automobile and motorcycle oriented business. In the recent times, the Philippines automotive world has witnessed quite many news updates from Honda's end, which is commendable in itself. It truly portrays that Honda Philippines has endeavored to be in the limelight all through these new year months. Very recently, we got to be aware about its next generation creation Honda Civic 2016. The buzzing information revealed about this company's more than seven back to back line-ups in the current year.
The magnetism towards this brand still sparks, as Honda India has declared its innovative plan of introducing two-thirds of its lineup that will be new-energy automotives. Though, the lineup is set to launch after many years down the line. However, seeking in perspective of this revolutionary technology, we are quite hopeful that the Philippines market will also get to experience it soon in its own auto world. This step is aimed majorly owing to the strict rules and regulations pertaining to the emission levels. The trend of Eco Friendly Cars/Green Cars has set in, and we can relate it to something divulged by Nissan back in the year 2015. As we are aware that Nissan had mentioned about its plan to commence the production of Eco-friendly car models in the future perspective. It is yet another brand that holds a high reputation in the market and within the consumer’s minds. It has believed that green cars are not just good in terms of environment but would also lead to the provision of performance oriented cars. Taking global warming unto a serious note, it aspires to facilitate its creations with zero emission levels. They had already got the first hand information and feedback through their Nissan Leaf model which has glorified the brand's name and topped on the charts too. Its is interestingly tagged as the best-selling Electric Vehicle at a global level.
Coming back to the Honda's plan of action, it has strategized to bring Plug-in hybrids on the table. The concept of this technology basically incorporates the avenue for charging made feasible, which can be done at the power stations or even at home. It would not be a cakewalk to have a considerable sales volume for this car segment, as there are limited resources with respect to charging stations, consumers’ buying pattern and other related aspects.
The master plan that we can speculate through this could be more in depth research and marketing plans for making it the hottest selling product once it comes on the real grounds. The year 2030 is a far fetched idea, where there are possibilities of more rivals who could probably join the bandwagon. Honda can easily seek the response of the consumers at that moment, and can feasibly work on the loopholes or can even have new implementations (as per need).
Lastly, the idea is noble and would hopefully work well, seeking global warming, high performance cars, zero emission vehicles, reservation of natural resources, etc. on the check list.
