Honda Prologue comes with a panoramic roof and 21-inch wheels. It will be offered in an exclusive exterior color called North Shore Pearl, which was inspired by the scenery and colors around Lake Tahoe in California. The H-mark badge on the rear has been replaced with the full Honda brand name in a stylized typeface that reflects the Prologue’s contemporary and clean styling.

  • The exterior and interior design of the all-new Prologue is developed by the Honda design team based in the US. A young team of designers built the modern SUV with simple surfacing. Neo-rugged was established as the design theme, bringing Prologue’s exterior and interior into balance with the elements of nature. Details like the panoramic roof and the 21-inch wheels, which give the SUV a capable and grounded exterior, reflect this design theme.

    Honda Prologue

Prologue was developed as a contemporary and innovative design that will look great in a showroom alongside other Honda SUVs. It has a wheelbase of 121.8 inches, and is around eight-inches longer and five-inches wider than the 2023 CR-V.

The interior of the Prologue will be spacious, offering enough room for both people and cargo. The Prologue will be equipped with an 11-inch driver display panel and an 11.3-inch audio/connectivity display, showcasing a technologically advanced interior.

    Honda Prologue

The Prologue will be offered with all-wheel drive. It will be marketed to active customers who desire the versatility of an SUV and the zero-emission benefits of a BEV.

“We are not going to wait until 2024 to attract EV buyers, because we see a natural progression for a CR-V customer to Prologue with its slightly larger size, larger interior, and capable handling. We will support that transition now by putting smart strategies in place with the CR-V hybrid that will enable our customers to transition to an EV,” American Honda Vice President for Automobile Planning and Strategy Gary Robinson said.

    Honda Prologue

As part of its global aim to achieve carbon neutrality for all products and corporate operations by 2050, Honda will launch 30 new electric vehicle models globally by 2030, with a global sales volume of two million units. Honda has outlined an ambitious plan for the introduction of electric vehicles in North America, with three initial phases up to 2030 and 100% zero-emission vehicle sales by 2040.

Honda also recently revealed plans to form a joint venture to manufacture lithium-ion batteries in the US for use in Honda and Acura electric vehicle models sold in North America.
