Honda to donate €1-M to support Ukraine, countries receiving refugees

MANILA: Honda Motor Co. announced that it will donate €1 million (approximately  P57 million) to the Japanese Red Cross Society. 

Through the Japanese Red Cross Society, the donation will be used to help address the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, and to support relief activities in countries receiving refugees from Ukraine, the carmaker added. 

"Honda sincerely wishes that the current emergency situation will come to an end as soon as possible and that peace will be restored all around the world," the carmaker expressed in a statement.
