MANILA: Honda is all set to release its upcoming new vehicles at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. Thereby, Honda has announced the model names that will be unveiled at the upcoming 44th Tokyo Motor Show starting on October 30, 2015.
An all-new fuel cell vehicle, the FCV will be a center of attraction along with the all-new NSX supercar. The new FCV sedan comes with fuel-cell powertrain under the hood including spacious cabin to accommodate five people comfortably. The FCV comes with some amazing features and utilities. In case of any emergency, this FCV can function as a “mobile power plant” that can produce electricity on pairing with an external power feeding inverter.
The all-new NSX is a supercar equipped with new-generation direct-injected twin turbo VTEC V6 engine. Additionally, it is powered by a high-output SPORT HYBRID SH-AWD (Super Handling-All Wheel Drive) hybrid system.
The all-new Civic Type R comes with Honda’s new 2.0-litre VTEC TURBO engine. Therefore, it holds a unique combination of original Honda VTEC technology, direct-injection technology and a turbocharger. It is capable of producing peak power output of 310 PS and peak torque of 400 Nm. The power output is more than the previous Honda Type R model.
Honda has also planned to debut Odyssey Hybrid production model which is equipped with Honda’s advanced SPORT HYBRID-iMMD (Intelligent Multi-Mode Drive) system.
Honda is excited and a bit desperate to debut its new vehicles at the event. Keeping the slogan ‘The Power of Dreams’ as their booth concept, Honda will unveil consumer products that will play a great role in people’s life. Hopefully, these models might successfully fascinate the automobile enthusiasts.
