Honda's New BR-V is Revealed Through a Sketch
MANILA: Through sketches you communicate the bigger things! The Japanese brand, Honda Motor Co, Ltd. probably thought on the same line before officially releasing the sketches of their upcoming mini crossover, called Bold Runabout Vehicle (BR-V).
This 7-seater vehicle is based on the same platform as the Amaze sedan, Mobilio MPV, and Brio hatchback. Moreover it combines the tough exterior design with high ground clearance of an SUV. What is seen from sketch is that it features Honda's standard design language with large bumper, chrome grille, wide headlights and fog lights in front. The side character lines with flared wheel arches which would fit in the big stylish alloy wheels are the sights from side. The roof rails at top, and the roof mounted spoiler, along with elongated lights complete the look at the back. More, what marks the presence at the front and the back is the proud brand name marque.
For interiors, the sketches are not yet out but the brand states that it will be a 7-seater in a three-row configuration and for the technicals, it is gathered that the BR-V will be fitted with 1.5-liter inline-four cylinder engine which is brought forward from the City and will be mated with two advanced transmissions.
This new-generation crossover utility vehicle is developed by Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co. Ltd. (HRAP) which is based in Thailand. This is the third model in the queue which is worked out by HRAP. The new BR-V will make its world debut at the Gaikindo Indonesian International Auto Show in Tangerang, Indonesia which will start from 20th August and will continue for ten days.
