Hongqi plans to 'aggressively expand' this 2025

MANILA: Hongqi Philippines will conduct aggressive expansion initiatives this 2025.

Without detailed information, the Chinese premium automaker’s local arm shared its goal to cater to the needs of the growing luxury vehicle segment.

This could mean that the company shall put up more dealerships nationwide as well expand its local roster to ensure a wider customer base.

In a statement, the firm noted that since the brand entered the Philippine market in 2023, it has already opened several dealerships located at:

• Bonifacio Global City
• Manila Bay
• Alabang
• Quezon City

“This strategic growth ensures that more Filipinos have access to Hongqi's luxury vehicles, including both all-electric and internal combustion engine models. The expansion reflects Hongqi's ‘dual-power approach’ and its aim to meet the increasing demand for premium automobiles in the Philippines,” Hongqi Philippine shared.

Further, it claimed that its roster is spearheaded by two models namely the H9 and E-HS9.

“The H9 and E-HS9 are just the beginning of a new era for Hongqi — new bold and sustainable direction,” Hongqi Philippines President Rashid Delgado was quoted as saying.

“Hongqi is poised to expand its presence throughout 2025 and beyond. “By granting the Filipino market full access to the pinnacle of automotive luxury with new showrooms, new models, and a new direction, Hongqi dares drivers to defy standards,” he added.

Aside from the two, the FAW-led vehicle brand also has the following models in its stable:

• H5
• HS3
• HS5
• E-QM5
