Meet the 300mm Longer Genesis EQ900 Called EQ900L
MANILA: Hyundai Genesis EQ900, also know as G90, only made its global debut last year. Back then, it took the auto market by storm through its stunning looks and best-in-class luxury. The car was considered a true rival of the likes of Audi and Mercedes and indeed, it is a strong competitor. As for the latest update, the Genesis G90 has been pulled from both ends by its designers and has been labelled as Genesis EQ900L. The reason they say is only to increase Genesis comfort and luxury quotient.
But this expanded version EQ900L, for now, has restricted its reach to its home country, South Korea. So, in future where many auto shows are lined up back to back, who knows it agrees to make its appearance elsewhere too. Taking of which we have Bangkok Motor Show 2016, New York Auto Show, and our native Manila International Auto Show 2016. So, let's see which auto show Hyundai chooses to display its new EQ900L.
Becoming a separate auto brand has made Genesis more serious towards its goal of becoming the top luxury brand and this is very well visible through the revamped version of EQ900L.
What makes new Genesis EQ900L new?
Exterior Changes:
Two major changes visible on the exterior front are its broad B-pillar and 300 mm extended body length. These two changes have a combine effect on the wheelbase, thus increasing the room inside. So, occupants can now expect more legroom and comfort, allowing them to enjoy the added amenities to the fullest.
Cabin Changes:
Cabin amenities were great earlier with the expanded version only expanding them further. So, now you'll get to see a pulled out rear entertainment unit that starts from the front armrest and east at the rear one. Also are present reclining slather wrapped seats that will make you no less than a king.
Engine Configuration:
Under hood configuration has remained unchanged, except for the fact that new pulled-out trim is only available with the heaviest of the engine. So, you'll get 5.0L V8 mill that like known generates 425 PS of power and 519 Nm of torque.
Scene for the Philippines market -
The Philippines market has Genesis Coupe for till self that has been running for some time now. Now we feel is the high time for Hyundai to introduce its sedan version.
