Hyundai launches 2016 Sonata Sport with Special Value Package

MANILA: Hyundai has planned to introduce its 2016 Sonata Sport with additional value added services and package. The South Korean automaker has equipped the Sonata Sport with new design styling and technically updated features. It comes powered by a 2.4-litre GDI four-cylinder engine which is capable of delivering a maximum power of 185 hp and 178 pound-feet of peak torque. The engines comes mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

The exterior gets a dynamic styling with LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, and chrome door handles. The model also comes equipped with a sunroof and a smart trunk. Meanwhile, the interior gets seats with premium leather upholstery along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The company has also fitted heated front seats and an adjustable driver’s seat. The central console also gets a 7-inch Display Audio system installed with Android Auto compatibility. It also gets a rear view camera for further assistance in parking.

Scott Margason, Director of Hyundai Motor America stated that, “The new Sonata Sport offers consumer friendly value package under a reasonable price.” The 2016 Sonata Sport value edition offers a mileage of 29 mpg (City and Highway combined). It is available at major Hyundai dealerships at a starting price of $24,350 (PhP 1,141,771.49).

Hyundai Philippines is also offering 5-year unlimited mileage warranty policy to its future buyers. The Warranty program came into practice from December, 1, 2015.
