During the said event, Hara — who served as MMPC’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for three years — expressed his gratitude to all the stakeholders of the company for their support and dedication during his tenure.
Additionally, he emphasized the importance of upholding the brand’s principles of corporate responsibility, integrity, and global understanding.
Hara credited the collective efforts of the MMPC team and its valued partners for achieving remarkable milestones.
The outgoing figurehead even reiterated the brand’s commitment to delivering top-notch vehicles to its Filipino customers.
A testament to Hara’s statement is the introduction of the Mitsubishi Triton, which not only gave its local customers a beefier, cleaner, more powerful pickup truck, but also united the brand’s offerings here in the country with its global lineup by dropping the Strada moniker.
Also under Hara was MMPC’s initiatives such as the “Life Made Better” and “Taralets Pinas” initiatives.
Imaeda, who will now fill in for Hara, mainly handled overseas markets with previous assignments in regions such as Europe, Russia, and Puerto Rico.
Prior to his installment as MMPC President, Imaeda was assigned as the President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Sales Caribbean Inc. in Puerto Rico, same as Hara.
At the turnover ceremony Imaeda shared his vision for MMPC's future, highlighting the Philippines as one of the most important markets for Mitsubishi Motors.
