Per inDrive, it aims give drivers a fair profit and a a platform to air their concerns through the campaign.According to the ride-hailing company, the said initiative aims to promote the welfare of its partner drivers, passengers, and the broader community.
The said initiative has been launched in partnership with transport group Laban TNVS.
“We have always believed in the power of mobility to transform lives. Our strategic goal for 2030 is ambitious but clear: to positively impact the lives of over one billion people worldwide. We aim to achieve this by continuously driving change through innovative mobility solutions and community-driven initiatives that resonate with the needs of the people we serve,” inDrive Marketing Director for Asia Pacific Natalia Makarenko said.
Per inDrive, the “Ka-gulong, Kita Tayo!” campaign looks to help Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) drivers earn a fair profit and increase their purchasing power. In addition, it seeks to provide TNVS drivers with a platform to air their concerns.
The campaign also highlights inDrive and Laban TNVS’ commitment to providing passengers with a safe riding experience and fair fares. The former fulfills this through its 10 percent commission model, which creates competitive rates that benefit the drivers and the riding public.
“By keeping our commission low, we can offer competitive rates that benefit everyone involved while continuously innovating to serve all parties. This is what we mean by equitable business — creating a system that works for all, not just a few,” Makarenko noted.
On top of empowering drivers and serving passengers, inDrive’s “Ka-gulong, Kita Tayo!” campaign also aims to launch various community-based programs. Together with Laban TNVS, the company will support its partner drivers’ families and uplift Filipino communities.
As an example, inDrive and Laban TNVS organized a flood assistance program not too long ago at Sitio San Roque in Quezon City during Super Typhoon Carina’s aftermath.
“We are glad to continue working closely with inDrive to create initiatives that reach out to drivers, and this campaign enables us to do just that. Laban TNVS has always been committed to assisting our brothers and sisters in the TNVS community, and we are pleased that inDrive shares the same goal. Rest assured, we will remain vigilant in fighting for justice, fairness, and equality in the industry, while promoting the safety of our roads, drivers, and passengers,” Laban TNVS President Jun De Leon stated.
Looking into the future, inDrive plans for further expansion in the country. The company looks to reach key areas like Cebu, Davao, and Pampanga. It also plans to diversify its partnership network to provide more driver and passenger benefits.
