Isuzu Recorded 37.5 Percent Sales Growth - Crosswind Again Topped Its Charts
MANILA: Seems like it is going to be a good business year for the Tokyo-based automobile company, Isuzu. After achieving a tremendous growth of 22 percent in the quarter 1 this year in comparison to that of last year, the brand has again found a reason to celebrate. The company has revealed the sales for April 2016 and has announced that after a record-setting sales observed during March this year, April has been the second best so far. Also, this April was comparatively a good month for the company while marking a growth of whooping 54 percent which is truly tremendous. The company was listed on the fourth position among the top five sellers in the Philippines automotive market in April 2016 with a market share of 8.45 percent. While the company might not be that happy with such a big rift between the market leader Toyota which captured 41.52 percent of the Philippines automotive market in April 2016, the personal growth of 55 percent is surely one big reason to bring a smile.
Isuzu Philippines Corporation has further revealed that during the first four months of this year, the company sold as many as 8,798 units which were 6,396 during this timeframe last year and so a clear cut 37.5 percent sales growth has been observed. Apart from this jump, the company sold 2219 units solely in the month of April this year which can be called the booster of the overall sales number for the company so far this year. An authority from Isuzu Philippines Corporation has stated that Isuzu Crosswind is the leading product for the company with sales touching to 479 units in April 2016 and 1,562 units since January 2016. Clearly, Crosswind is one tough drive for its competitors!
Hajime Koso – president of IPC (Isuzu Philippines Corporation) has shared this news by stating, “Isuzu Philippines is pleasantly surprised to find out how close our sales in April came to those we have made in March, especially considering that it took the company nearly two decades to achieve that record. The result places us firmly on track to meet our year-end target, and indicates an upward trend not only for Isuzu but also for the entire Philippine automotive industry”. With this statement, he also revealed that while Isuzu Crosswind leads on the sales charts, the mu-X followed it with a sales figure touching to 983 units. A big contribution from N-Series light-duty truck and D-Max pickup have also been made towards this 37.5 percent of jump with 355 and 338 units respectively.
While there is no doubts that Isuzu is a brand which is known for creating power packed sumptuous drives, the discounts and offers provided by the company since January 2016 have also contributed a lot towards the enhanced sales of the company. Even for May month customers, the company has an ongoing promo where they can save up to PhP 75000 on the purchase of Isuzu Crosswind which is valid till 31st May 2016. So, if you are looking to buy an Isuzu drive, this is the right time when you can own it with great discounts. Kudos to Isuzu for this progress and prospective customers, don't miss Isuzu May offers!
