This all-electric, high-performance supercar comes with an all-solid-state battery that churns out up to 1,000 kilowatts. It also features Nissan’s e-4orce all-wheel control technology for improved cornering and superb handling on tracks and winding roads.
Wide and grounded proportions, sleek curves, and bold geometry comprises the exterior of the Hyper Force. The design of front and rear lamps pay homage to the Nissan high-performance cars.
Together with the Nismo racing team, Nissan designed the Hyper Force to deliver high aerodynamic performance for a powerful downforce. The two-tiered aerodynamic structure under the front hood, the dual-level rear diffuser, and the lightweight forged carbon wheels, help in optimally controlling airflow.
The Hyper Force has two driving modes: R (racing) and GT (grand touring).
In R mode, the interior is red-lit, creating an intuitive cockpit that helps improve driving focus. Four satellite screens around the steering wheel show data that is relevant for racing, like tire grip and temperature, air pressure, brake rotor temperature, power distribution, and more.
Meanwhile, in GT mode, the interior is lit up in blue, and the screens that surround the steering wheel recede and come together to create a more immersive experience. The infotainment system also features settings for the suspension, stabilizers, and air-conditioning.
The Hyper Force also enables advanced autonomous driving with hyper light detection and ranging, as well as sensors tuned for sports driving.
A cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) experience that enables driving in real and virtual worlds boosts the appeal of the Hyper Force. When the car is stopped, the driver can engage in a driving simulation experience with options that allow racing against the clock or other online racers using a customized VR helmet with blind visors. The driver can test their driving skills on real-world tracks using skeleton visors for AR, allowing them to compete against their own and others’ digital ghosts on a track.
Nissan showcased its capability to envision a broad spectrum of future customer needs and lifestyles by revealing one electric vehicle (EV) concept every week since October 3 leading up to the Japan Mobility Show.
Among the “hyper” concept cars that were previously unveiled are the Hyper Urban, Hyper Adventure, Hyper Tourer, and Hyper Punk.
“All five concept cars showcased today are symbols of the future and embody our founding spirit of ‘daring to do what others don’t’. We have advanced our EV innovations, moving beyond mobility to create a more sustainable world. The EVs symbolize our future of creating a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive world for everybody without compromising on passions and dreams. Through the power of innovation, Nissan is creating a future where everyone can enjoy the excitement of mobility,” Nissan President and Chief Executive Officer Makoto Uchida stated.
