Kia introduces Stonic Quantum special edition in UK

MANILA: Kia UK has unveiled the Kia Stonic Quantum, a special edition of the sought-after B-segment SUV.

The Kia Stonic Quantum edition is made to provide customers with the most value possible. It delivers a wide range of standard features and equipment with a low purchase price of around £21,600 (approximately P1.4 million) on-the-road.

The Kia Stonic Quantum offers a number of additional features for the same on-the-road cost as the Stonic GT-Line to entice buyers. These include rain-sensing front wipers, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, smart key with engine start/stop, and auto-dimming rearview mirror.

The exterior of the Kia Stonic Quantum has a Storm Grey body with a two-tone yellow roof. New black fabric and grey faux leather seats with yellow accents are featured in the cabin, along with a yellow interior package that adds more color highlights.

The Kia Stonic Quantum also comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic air-conditioning, a reversing camera, an eight-inch touchscreen navigation system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, privacy glass, front fog lights, bi-function projector headlights, and LED rear combination lights.  It also has driver assistance systems such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (City/Pedestrian/Cyclist), Hill-Start Assist Control, Lane Keeping Assist System, High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Electronic Stability Control with Vehicle Stability Management, and Manual Speed Limit Assist.

The Kia Stonic Quantum is powered by a 1.0-liter T-GDi (Turbocharged-Gasoline Direct injection) engine that generates 99bhp and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

First customer deliveries for the Kia Stonic Quantum are scheduled to begin in early 2023.
