Lamborghini Countach in spotlight at Art Basel Miami exhibit
MANILA: Automobili Lamborghini, in partnership with the Consulate General of Italy, organized the “Lamborghini Countach: Future is our Legacy” exhibit as part of this year’s Art Basel Miami at The Wolfsonian-FIU Museum in Florida, USA.

The exhibit’s highlight is a 1986 Lamborghini Countach LP 5000 QV. The exhibit begins with a history of the Countach models, then moves on to vintage sketches, the journey to sustainability corner, and an imagery of the new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4. The latest Countach LPI 800-4 is a follow-up to the Lamborghini Sian in terms of hybridization one of Direzione Cor Tauri’s ambitious goals, which includes a fully plug-in hybrid model lineup by 2025 and the launch of the first fully battery-electric Lamborghini within the second half of the decade.
Lamborghini defies the status quo in a way that is as unstoppable as the cars that bear its name. The hybrid-powered Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, which will be launched on the 50th anniversary of the original LP 500 this year, is a testimony to the world’s first super sports car’s continuing impact, as well as another step forward in the brand’s electrification journey. Engineered for a new era, the LPI 800-4 showcases Lamborghini’s latest innovations, including hybrid technology that works in tandem with the V12 engine.
