Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 joins ‘Asphalt 9: Legends’

MANILA: The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 made its debut in Asphalt 9: Legends yesterday, August 1. To celebrate the arrival of the super sports car in the video game, Gameloft hosted a competition dedicated to the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4.

The competition is divided into two elimination rounds, with the grand finals happening on September 14.

In the qualifying sessions, the participants raced in single-game mode to achieve the best lap time. The winners will compete in the rand finals, participating in double elimination races.

Asphalt 9: Legends is the latest version of the Asphalt racing franchise, one of the most successful simulation games. It features the world’s most iconic supercars including Lamborghini Terzo Millenio, Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder, and Lamborghini Essenza SCV12.

“Asphalt 9: Legends is a one-of-a-kind interactive experience that will give thousands of fans the opportunity to discover our hybrid supercar. The Countach LPI 800-4 is the heir to a legendary car, capable of revolutionizing the world of super sports cars and building a fundamental part of Lamborghini's genetic heritage,” Automobili Lamborghini Marketing Director Christian Mastro stated.

The limited-edition Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is considered as the most powerful road-going Lamborghini ever, paying homage to the iconic Countach introduced in 1971.

The super sports car is powered by a V12 engine and 48V hybrid technology, producing a total power output of 814hp. It can accelerate from zero to 100kph in just 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 355 kph.
