Lamborghini is Italy’s top auto employer

MANILA: Automobili Lamborghini has been recognized as one of Italy's top three employers, and the first in the automotive industry. The Sant'Agata-based company, along with Ferrero and Thales Alenia Space, received the Randstad Employer Brand 2022, the exclusive award given by Randstand, the world's leading provider of human resources services.

Automobili Lamborghini, in particular, was ranked first in the category for career path visibility and is among the best in terms of credibility, compensation and perks, as well as workplace health and safety.

In a statement, Lamborghini Chief Human Capital Officer Umberto Tossini said, “Well-being, in the holistic sense, continuous learning, and a focus on the many aspects of diversity for the design of an attractive workplace — it is this approach that has led to awards such as that of Randstad Employer Brand Research, which confirm that attention to the well-being and care of people is key to spreading awareness and generating value. Our many initiatives aim to nurture our employees’ sense of belonging, fostering their evolution and growth thanks to a corporate culture based on the promotion of individuality and mutual respect.”

This award follows the "Top Employer Italy'' recognition, which was received by Lamborghini for the ninth year in a row. These awards demonstrate the House of Sant'Agata's dedication in pursuing a high-value corporate welfare strategy that prioritizes its employees. Last year, the company launched the ambitious Lamborghini Feelosophy project, designed with the goal of taking holistic care of its workers. It covers long-standing programs relating to physical and mental health, as well as new approaches on matters such as sustainable nutrition and the importance of sleep. Furthermore, programs and activities related to diversity, inclusion, parental and pay equity have continued. The company currently employs over 1,900 people, up 5.6% from 2021.

The Randstad award was given based on the findings of independent research that measured the level of appeal seen by potential employees, with the three most important elements in choosing an employer being a healthy workplace, work-life balance, and fair remuneration. The Employer Brand Research involved interviewing 6,590 people in Italy between the ages of 18 and 64, including students, employees, and unemployed people, about the attractiveness of 150 potential employers.
