Lamborghini marks end of V12 supercar era with two new one-off cars
MANILA: With only a few weeks until the debut of its first hybrid super sports car, Lamborghini is celebrating its acclaimed naturally-aspirated V12 engine with the launch of the Lamborghini Invencible coupe and Lamborghini Autentica roadster, two one-off cars that showcase the brand's DNA and symbolize the very pinnacle of Lamborghini's exclusive accent on personalization by involving the customer from the very start to develop models that are truly bespoke.

What powers the Lamborghini Invencible and Lamborghini Autentica?
The Lamborghini Invencible and Lamborghini Autentica are powered by a 12-cylinder, 6.5-liter engine positioned longitudinally in the rear.To which limited-edition Lamborghini models do the Lamborghini Invencible and Lamborghini Autentica pay tribute?
The Lamborghini Invencible and Lamborghini Autentica pay homage to the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, Lamborghini Reventon, and Lamborghini Veneno.“The V12 engine is one of the pillars of our history and our marque’s success. As we head towards embracing a new era of hybridization at the heart of our Cor Tauri strategy, this is the Lamborghini way of celebrating the naturally aspirated V12 with two one-off vehicles that perfectly represent our concept of excellence in personalization,” Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stephan Winkelmann stated.
The two one-off vehicles were developed by Lamborghini Centro Stile using the V12 platform, preserving the design characteristics that have contributed to Lamborghini's legendary status and drawing on an athletic nature inspired by the racetrack.
The Invencible and Autentica pay homage to the Sesto Elemento, a tribute to lightness and motorsport distinguished by a large rear wing; the Reventon with its distinctive aeronautical style; and the Veneno, which pushes the boundaries of aerodynamic excellence.
“We have created two one-off cars with their own unique character, inspired by track days and the high-octane circuit environment. They are designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile, exerting maximum creativity on the V12 platform. These one-off designs draw on our unique design DNA while once again elevating our design heritage to a new level,” Automobili Lamborghini Design Head Mitja Borkert said.
Both cars use the same Sant'Agata Bolognese-produced carbon fiber monocoque from the Aventador, as well as full carbon bodywork that includes design and technological innovations that Lamborghini has successfully proven in motorsport. The prominent bonnet is a carryover from the Essenza SCV12, as is the large front splitter with vertical struts intended to regulate airflow as efficiently as possible.
The hexagon, a well-known element of contemporary Lamborghini design, is incorporated seamlessly yet prominently into the defining visual features of the vehicle, starting with the distinctive front and rear light assembly emphasized by cutting-edge hexagonal LED running lights. The air intakes on the bonnet are similar to those on the Sesto Elemento, and the central triple exhaust with Inconel tips, a special high-performance steel alloy derived from the aerospace industry, continues the motif.
On the inside, both vehicles are designed with clean lines and minimalist dashboards with no instrumentation on the console. These emphasize the cabins' lightness and concentrate the attention entirely on the driving experience. The cockpit's carbon fiber structure has a digital readout with customized graphics for each vehicle.
The subtle contrast between the predominant shade of red and the carbon-look elements emphasized by red “flakes” is what gives the Lamborghini Invencible its distinctive look. The Rosso Efesto bodywork is complemented with carbon fiber sills and door frames, similar to the brake calipers in Rosso Mars, which are mounted behind single-nut wheels with carbon fiber fairings to ventilate the brake assembly. Two prominent hexagonal tricolors in the shape of the Italian flag can be seen on the classic scissor doors.
The interior, which contrasts with the bodywork's color by using Rosso Alala leather and Nero Cosmus Alcantara, is further enhanced with personalized embroidery in those two complementary colors. Rosso Efesto, the same color as the gearshift paddles on the steering wheel, is applied on the Lamborghini emblem on the dashboard.
The Lamborghini Autentica has bodywork in Grigio Titans with accents in Matt Black and a Giallo Auge livery, which is the same color as the primary aerodynamic elements. These include the front splitter and a rear wing with two fins that was inspired by motorsports and optimizes the aerodynamic load. Two domes with integrated roll bars, inspired by classic open-topped racers, give the vehicle its distinctive look. Elegant Giallo Taurus embroidery, Nero Ade leather upholstery, and two-tone Nero Cosmus and Grigio Octans Alcantara can all be seen inside the open-air cabin.
The Lamborghini Invencible and Lamborghini Autentica were the only Lamborghini vehicles made with a 12-cylinder, 6.5-liter engine positioned longitudinally in the rear before the shift to hybrid era. The final ode to the retiring Lamborghini V12 engine produces 780CV and a maximum 720Nm of torque at 6,750rpm. It is paired to a seven-speed ISR gearbox, four-wheel drive, and the Lamborghini Dynamic Steering system.
