The Technics SL-1200M7B Direct Drive Turntable System is available in orange, green, and yellow.Per the Italian carmaker, the SL-1200M7B Direct Drive Turntable System is a special edition model based on SL-1200MK7/SL-1210MK7 DJ models from the SL-1200 turntable series, which have garnered widespread acclaim and popularity over the years.
The design of the turntable is inspired by Lamborghini’s iconic Y-shape pattern. In addition, it is available in orange, green, and yellow colors, which are based on the most iconic liveries worn by the Sant’Agata Bolognese-headquartered brand’s super sports cars.
It runs on a coreless direct drive motor, which achieves stable rotation free of cogging and unnecessary torque. The turntable also boasts a highly-sensitive, yet robust tonearm that accurately reads the signal engraved in the record groove. It also gets a two-layer structure platter with improved vibration-damping performance.
Other notable features include a starting torque/brake speed adjustment function, a pitch control function that enables accurate and stable pitch adjustment, a reverse play function that expands the flexibility of DJ playing styles, and a stylus illuminator that features a high-brightness and long-life LED.
According to Lamborghini, those who will be purchasing the SL-1200M7B Direct Drive Turntable System “will be treated to an exclusive gift in the form of a vinyl record featuring the powerful engine and driving sounds of six different Lamborghini V12-engine super sports cars, recorded especially for this project: 400GT 2+2, Miura SV, 25th Anniversary Countach, Diablo 6.0 SE, Murciélago LP 640 and Revuelto.”
The vinyl itself is a picture disc illustrating the tire of the Lamborghini Revuelto, one of the marque’s latest models, so customers can enjoy listening to the engine sounds as the tire spins atop the turntable.
Further, buyers of the SL-1200M7B Direct Drive Turntable System will also receive a slipmat and two stickers featuring the Automobili Lamborghini and Technics logos.
The Technics SL-1200M7B Direct Drive Turntable System is now available to order and has a sticker price of $1,599 or approximately P92,590.
