Leclerc drives Ferrari SF90 Stradale in short film

MANILA: The Ferrari SF90 Stradale, driven by Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc, is featured in the short film Le Grand Rendez-vous of Claude Lelouch, a French director. The flick was shot at Monaco on May 24 (the day that the Formula 1 Grand Prix was supposed to happen). The short film is set to premiere on June 13.

The cameras were able to take shots of the adrenaline-fueled laps of the Ferrari model. Leclerc drove the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, and he was able to clock speeds up to 240kph to the mystery “big date” of the title. The Ferrari model was able to run from zero to 100kph in 2.5 ticks along the streets of the principality.

The blazing engine soundtrack of the vehicle was able to break a long spell for Prancing Horse aficionados who have surely been missing the F1 action. The hybrid V8 produces a total power of 986hp, and helps deliver a message of positivity, indicating the first step toward the comeback of social life, film, and motorsport.

The featured Ferrari SF90 Stradale also signifies that people can recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic through solidarity, dedication, and mutual responsibility.

HRH Prince Albert II of Monaco also had a cameo in the short film. John Elkann, the Ferrari chairman, along with Prince Pierre Casiraghi and wife Princess Beatrice Borromeo, as well as Prince Andrea Casiraghi also dropped by the set.

A group of thrilled spectators from the streets and balconies were able to witness the shooting of the film, following the gradual lifting of the lockdown in Monaco and France.

Local authorities were able to supervise efficiently while the shooting of the film was ongoing. Traffic was controlled to allow the Ferrari SF90 Stradale to unveil its complete power on the streets of Monaco.
