Lego gets a Lambo

MANILA: Automobili Lamborghini and the Lego group have collaborated for the manufacture of the Lego Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37. This is a 1:8 scale model that is made up of 3,696 pieces and signifies the appeal and strength of the hybrid Lamborghini super sports car.

Initially launched at the 2019 Frankfurt Auto Show, the futuristic attributes of the Lamborghini Sián are genuinely remade in the Lego Technic model. This includes a mockup of the V12 engine, front and rear suspension, movable rear spoiler, and wheel-powered steering, along with the Automobili Lamborghini emblem.

The replica features an entirely functional eight-speed sequential gearbox that is regulated by a movable paddle gearshift and scissor doors that open to unveil the exquisitely refabricated cockpit. The sophisticated golden rims and the vibrant lime-green color of the Lego Technic mockup are available as trim and color on the real Sián, with the model having dimensions of 25 cm in width, 60 cm in length, and 13 cm in height.

The front hood of the Lego Technic Lamborghini Sián can be opened and it contains a Lamborghini overnight bag, along with a distinct serial number that reveals exclusive content. Furthermore, model owners can scan a QR code in the building guidelines to a private selection of Automobili Lamborghini and Lego videocasts. The videocasts discover the inspiration behind the development of the Lego Technic replica and the original vehicle.

The LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 has an exceptional box that is inspired by the attention-grabbing color, iconic headlight silhouette, and classic lines of the original Sián.

CEO and Chairman of Automobili Lamborghini Stefano Domenicali said that the LEGO brick is a legend similar to the original Lamborghini super sports car. Every super sports car of the auto brand is unique because of the specific driving style of each car owner and the Ad Personam personalization program of Lamborghini. It is the same as the Lego bricks that give limitless possibilities for creators of all ages. The mockup of the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 from the Lego Group demonstrates a vivid building experience for both Lego enthusiasts and super sports car aficionados.

LEGO Group CEO Niels B. Christiansen also added that the new model captures excellence and creativity embodied in the DNA of both the LEGO Group and the Automobili Lamborghini.
