Lexus Driving Signature promises safer, more exciting journeys

MANILA: With a goal of producing vehicles that carry a unique identity, Lexus sticks to its Lexus Driving Signature (LDS) philosophy, which aims to provide confidence, comfort, and overall driving pleasure that is faithful to the driver’s intentions.

The chief engineer for each Lexus model leads ensures that every vehicle produced meets the high standards defined by Toyota Motor Corporation Master Driver Akio Toyoda and Lexus International President and Chief Branding Officer Koji Sato.

The Shimoyama Technical Center Test Track also plays a vital role in the LDS philosophy, as it simulates the most challenging roads in the world to evaluate the stability and handling of every Lexus model made.

The LDS philosophy also includes Lexus Safety Sense (LSS), a suite of cutting-edge active safety features that include Pre-Collision System (PCS), Adaptive High Beam System, Automatic High Beam System (AHB), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC).

The integration of the LDS philosophy continues as Lexus moves toward an electrified future. The Japanese luxury carmaker has unveiled its new Lexus Electrified technology for the futuristic LF-30 concept car. This includes the Lexus Advanced Posture Control technology that regulates the drive-power output from high-torque electric motors on all four wheels to adjust vehicle posture in tune with human sensibilities.
