Lexus Remote offers brand's SUV lineup in safer, contactless fashion
MANILA: Even as Lexus Manila has already reopened its doors for business, the company says that its showroom and service center are available to customers by appointment only — through its hotline number +632 8856-5252 or +63 917-841-7511 (Globe) and +63 918-979-9807 (Smart).
“To assist (people) who have their hearts set on a new Lexus, but understandably, may still feel uneasy to leave their homes, we have prepared a simple, hassle-free contactless purchase journey called Lexus Remote,” Lexus Manila said on its website here.
Customers are asked to leave details on a form, then wait to be contacted by a dedicated sales consultant, “who will address… inquiries and prepare a quotation.” To proceed with a purchase, copies of necessary documents need to be sent to the sales consultant, who will then send a copy of the Vehicle Sales Worksheet for review, as well as detailed payment instructions.
If everything checks out and is the application is approved, a confirmation email will be sent, along with a receipt of deposit. “Congratulations — you’re the owner of a new Lexus,” said the site. The “alternative sales process” is said to allow customers to complete the “guest and purchase journey virtually.”
The Lexus SUV range is comprised of the following:
Lexus UX. The gateway model is positioned as “the ideal crossover for the buyer who is looking for more in a vehicle.” The UX is said to meet higher expectations, “offering higher levels of refinement, luxury, and engineering.” Built for urban lifestyles, the UX boasts a highly detailed driver-inspired cockpit featuring increased driver connectivity.
Lexus NX. Seen to be a “next-level” vehicle, the NX boasts an angular, muscular exterior and leather-padded interiors.
Lexus RX. This model is the first crossover SUV to wear the Lexus badge, and is a pioneer of the luxury SUV segment. Lexus says it also has registered “impressive sales performance throughout every iteration.” The RX is meant to appeal to growing families and boasts safety, performance, practicality, and environment-friendly tech. It has a seven-seat option and a hybrid variant.
Lexus GX. For a bit more power and the ability to tackle off-road conditions, the Lexus GX luxury midsize SUV gives confidence and prowess. Apart from its versatility, it is fitted with luxury features not found in traditional SUVs — from the driver-centric cockpit, eifght-way power-adjustable seats, to premium interior materials. Under the hood is a powerful 4.6-liter V8 that delivers power to all four wheels via a six-speed sequential shift transmission, with a Torsen limited-slip center differential with an electronic differential lock.
Lexus LX. The flagship SUV of Lexus is, at its core, an off-road vehicle that has proven itself to have one of the toughest and most reliable platforms. Fitted with adaptive variable suspension, a rugged high-strength chassis, and multiple drive modes, the LX is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine. It has a 4x4 drivetrain, but with features and luxury appointments found in a Lexus.
