'Lexus Showcase' highlights brand's electrification efforts this year

MANILA: Lexus presented its electrification initiatives at the recently held Lexus Showcase event in Japan.

The new model lineup that Lexus launched in other regions in the first half of 2023 made its debut in the brand's home country. This includes the new LM, LBX, GX, and TX.

Lexus also announced that they will be launching a customer experience program for the ROV concept, which will be powered by a hydrogen engine. The program aims to make customers feel connected with nature and experience the thrill of driving while still being eco-friendly.

The Japanese luxury carmaker also revealed its plans of launching a next-generation battery electric vehicle in 2026. The vehicle will feature an innovative modular body structure and a completely new software platform. It will also be built through a new production method. The concept model will be unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show in October.
