LTFRB: UV Express start next week, traditional PUJs could follow
MANILA: The LTFRB (Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board) has announced that UV Express will begin operations starting Monday next week (June 29) while traditional PUJs (public utility jeeps) could follow soon after.
“Next week for both UV and traditional jeepneys... For Monday may bubuksan na mga UV Express (we will open [routes> UV Express), and then followed by the traditional jeepneys," said LTFRB Chairman Martin Delgra.
The reopening is in the same order dictated by the DOTr (Department of Transportation) although Delgra did not specify the timeline of the resumption of traditional PUJ operations.
