LTO extends vehicle registration for plates ending in 6, 7, 8, 9, 0
MANILA: The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has extended the validity of registration of motor vehicles with plates ending in 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 in order to avoid large groups coming together at LTO offices while most parts of the country are still in GCQ (general community quarantine).
For motor vehicles that need to be registered during the month of June, July, and August 2020, owners have the freedom to do it between now and October 30, 2020.
Vehicles that need to be registered in September and October 2020 can do so until December 31, 2020.
Motor vehicle registration done within the prescribed time frame above will incur no penalties and surcharges.
Vehicle owners are reminded to observe the health and safety protocols set by the IATF-EID (Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases) when visiting LTO offices for any transaction.
