MANILA: Yasuhisa Masuda has been formally introduced as the new Nissan Philippines Incorporated (NPI) president.

Masuda will report directly to Nissan ASEAN and Thailand President Toshihiro Fujiki.The Japanese automaker’s new helm for its distributorship in the country has made its appearance following his official assumption of duties and responsibilities last April 1. He replaced Juan Manuel Hoyos, who has been appointed as the new president of Nissan Importers Business Unit in the Americas and will be based in Mexico.
Masuda is reporting directly to Nissan ASEAN and Thailand President Toshihiro Fujiki, who was also appointed to his position recently.
Masuda started his stint at Nissan in 2011 and has held various leadership roles in Market Intelligence, Brand and Media Strategy.
Per Nissan, the newly-hailed leader previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Japan Product Marketing and Brand and Media Strategy. Prior to joining Nissan, he also worked in the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
