Maxus PH dealerships to reopen with strict guidelines
MANILA: Once the government-enforced enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) that aims to curb the spread of COVID-19 is lifted, Maxus Philippines is set to reopen dealerships in the country and welcome its valued customers. Still, business operations will undergo modifications in compliance with stringent guidelines to safeguard of the security, health, and well-being of customers, business partners, and employees of the auto company.
Maxus Philippines general manager Reginald See said that once the dealerships of the auto company reopen, customers will be welcomed with the same level of courtesy, expertise, and professionalism. But this time, there are additional guidelines to guarantee personal protection and health.
All customers, whether walk-in or scheduled, should wear face masks. The dealer will be providing face masks in case the customers forget to bring theirs. The face masks should be worn at all times, especially when customers are inside the premises of the dealership.
It is also encouraged for customers to maintain a distance of at least one meter from personnel and other customers when they are inside the premises of the auto company. They are also urged to use hand sanitizers, which will be available in designated sites.
Upon entering, the body temperature of customers will be read. If the temperature reading is higher than 37°C, entry will be denied.
Moreover, it is also recommended that customers contact their Maxus dealers first before visiting the site. All aftersales services will only be by appointment.
All dealerships of Maxus PH guarantees that the delivery, service, and sales crew, and all its operations personnel will comply with the safety guidelines stated in its Dealership Operations Safety Measures. For efficient physical and social distancing among employees, about 50% of the service personnel will be allowed to report for work. The rest of the staff will still work from their homes.
The comfort rooms, customer lounges, and other facilities, as well as door handles, will be frequently sanitized.
During the servicing process, used parts that were left inside the vehicle should be properly disposed. The importance of protective material application on bumper covers, floor mats, shift knobs, steering wheel covers, and seats of the vehicles will be taken into consideration as well.
The service team needs to use proper protective gear and disposable gloves during the whole service process, from the receiving of the customer and payment to the release of the vehicles. Car keys should also be disinfected before turning over to the customers.
At the invoicing or billing area, workers will wear gloves and masks while maintaining proper physical distancing protocols. Disinfected pens will be provided to customers for signing documents. Payment cards will also be sanitized before and after a transaction. Before handing over to the customers, change for money payments will also undergo disinfection.
Home car care services, express check-ins, and vehicle pick-up and delivery services are all subject to underlying quarantine conditions of various local governments.
