Maxus PH inaugurates new showroom in Makati City

MANILA: Maxus Philippines formally opened its newest dealership in Makati on Thursday, May 20. Maxus Makati is the brand’s eighth dealership in the country since its local debut in June 2019.

The official opening ceremony was graced by AC Motors Automobile Group President Antonio Zara III, Automobile Central Enterprise Inc. President Felipe Estrella III, Maxus Philippines General Manager Jun Cajayon, and Iconic Dealership Inc. Chief Operating Officer Bob Palanca.

 

Maxus Makati is located along Osmeña Highway in Magallanes. The showroom displays five Maxus models including the G10 and V80 vans, the T60 pickup, the G50 multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), and the D60 sports utility vehicle (SUV). A workshop will also rise soon in the facility, which can accommodate multiple vehicles at a time.

The inauguration of the new Maxus dealership reflects the brand’s relentless commitment in expanding its reach across the country. More Maxus showrooms are expected to open this year, including Maxus Alabang that will start its operations in July and Maxus Davao in September.

In a statement, Cajayon (in photo below) said, “Maxus Philippines moves forward with its expansion plans, as this not only expresses our faith that the local economy will recover and pick up where it left off before the pandemic, expansion also strengthens the Maxus brand integrity among Filipino motorists. The more dealerships we have, the more accessible our vehicles and services will be, which would ultimately lead to a stronger and more competitive brand.”

In parallel, Palanca (above) stated, “Makati City is the beating heart of the country’s financial and business sectors, and this is also where Filipinos from all walks of life converge. Now that a Maxus dealership is in Makati City, we can be sure that Maxus vehicles will be even more within reach of our target clientele. I can already see Maxus Makati making significant contributions to Maxus Philippines’ overall sales.”

Aside from the new Makati showroom, Maxus Philippines presently has dealerships in Mandaluyong City, Quezon Avenue, Taguig South, Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, and Cagayan de Oro.
