Maxus PH to unveil compact people mover in August

MANILA: Maxus Philippines, the Ayala-owned distributor and importer of the British-heritage brand of vehicles, is set to debut its Maxus G50, the new eight-seater compact MPV, this August.

The G50 will be available in three variants, which will all be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

In terms of its exterior, the G50 exhibits a boxlike minivan configuration. It has a broad bottom grille coupled with a thin top grille that is bordered on both sides by sharp LED headlights.

Chrome embellishments can also be seen on either side of the lower bumper, which further provides accents to its well-sculpted appearance.

Inside, the G50 is also equipped with cutting-edge technology. This is evident through its massive infotainment system at the front that provides the vehicle with smartphone mirroring ability. A digital screen can also be seen in the instrument panel, providing the driver with greater accessibility to details regarding the car.
