Maxus reaffirms commitment to 24/7 emergency roadside assistance

MANILA: During these trying times, a single road trip can prove very crucial for the health and well-being of the entire family. This is the period when every vehicle needs to perform efficiently.

Thus, auto brand Maxus commits to providing 24/7 emergency roadside assistance and hassle-free ownership to its clients. Customers can contact the Maxus hotline, (02) 84599-4792.

Maxus car owners in the country can reach out at customercare@maxus.com.ph or maxus.com.ph for their queries and concerns or visit the official Facebook page of Maxus, facebook.com/MaxusPhilippines.

The brand has British roots, involved in the establishment of the Leyland Steam Van in 1896, followed by the commencement of the Leyland Motors in 1907. Throughout its entire history, Maxus has continuously expanded its product line, as it eventually included buses, sedans, and other commercial vehicles.

In 2004, the Maxus nameplate made its first appearance along with the debut of the "Maxus" prototype LD100 van. The Maxus V80 and Maxus G10 models were first introduced in 2011 and 2014, respectively. The Maxus G10 was considered as the pioneer of the Maxus brand image.

Maxus Philippines is the sixth automobile brand partner under the industrial wing of AC Motors, the local distributor of Maxus vehicles in the country. The company has constantly reassured its clients that they will continue to enjoy the convenience, versatility, adaptability, efficiency, and optimal power of their Maxus vehicles even during this time of crisis. Aside from this, they will also have peace of mind knowing that the aftersales support of Maxus Philippines will take care of their concerns.

However, as part of the company's consideration for the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in numerous local government units (LGUs), the response time of services offered may differ from one area to another. This will highly depend on the coordination of the vehicle owner, the LGU, and the specific Maxus service provider in their area.

The Maxus G10 MPV has a periodic maintenance service (PMS) interval schedule of 10,000 kilometers or every 12 months. This is after the first 5,000 kilometers or six months. This is regarded as more cost-efficient and practical than the industry-standard 5,000- kilometer PMS interval.

For the Maxus T60 and V80 variants, the PMS interval schedule is at a standard of 15,000 kilometers or one year, after the first 5,000 kilometers/six months.

All schedules of PMS intervals for the Maxus T60, V80, and G10 that are within the timeframe of the ECQ shall have extensions for additional 30 days following the official lifting of the ECQ period.

For all V80 and G10 MPV variants bought since Maxus Philippines commenced its operations in June 2019, there is a universal warranty of three years or 100,000 kilometers. For the 4x4 and 4x2 variants of the Maxus T60, the universal warranty is 100,000 kilometers  or five years, whichever comes first.
