Mazda EV to be revealed in Tokyo Motor Show?
MANILA: Will Mazda finally offer an EV in its lineup?
Many manufacturers are extending their share in reducing carbon footprint because let’s face it: they largely contribute to the pollution. So, it is only but appropriate to do something for Mother Earth.
And this is what Mazda has yet to do: introduce a green vehicle in its offering. Currently, Mazda has yet to offer one as they have focused mainly on creating efficient engines.
However, they are reportedly unveiling an electric vehicle soon. When? This October at the Tokyo Motor Show, most likely.
While there is still very limited information about the vehicle, the main consideration is that it would still be in accordance to its Jinba-Ittai (rider and horse as one)design philosophy.
Though the teaser video did not even show even a slight detail of the vehicle, we believe it will be an entirely new model.
No details such as powertrain, but judging by the way things are going (and since they are eyeing it to be a mass-produced model), we will likely see an existing model fitted with an EV twist.
And that is more than enough reason to watch what the upcoming model for Mazda at the Tokyo Motor Show this October.
