Mazda to join earthquake relief efforts

“Mazda Motor Corporation is deeply saddened by the terrible loss of life following ‘the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake,’ and wishes to extend its heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives as well as its sincerest sympathies to everyone affected by this major disaster,” the carmaker wrote in a press statement.
“It is Mazda's earnest hope that the afflicted areas are soon able to begin the process of recovery,” it added.
Mazda joins other Japanese automotive brands — such as Toyota — that continue to throw support to those affected by the earthquake.
To note, large media outlets reported that the earthquake reached a magnitude of 7.5 and have damaged infrastructures as well as claimed several lives when it struck Japan.
