Metro Manila LGUs support suspension of pass-through fees

MANILA: The mayors of the cities in Metro Manila declared their unanimous support to Executive Order (EO) Number 41, which prohibits the collection of any form of fees on all motor vehicles carrying goods or merchandise on any national roads and other roads not built and funded by local government units (LGU).

    Meanwhile, San Juan City Mayor and MMC President Francis Zamora stated that all existing ordinances of Metro Manila LGUs collecting such fees would be revoked or suspended.
