MG PH holds MG Live! anew and dangles deals

MANILA: With a fresh new MG Live!, MG Philippines triumphantly returns to the live music scene. This October 2022, the brand's premier free live concert series will take place.

Ever since MG Philippines launched the first MG Live! concert in mid-2019, fans of both great music and great cars have clamored for more. Since its inception, MG Philippines has mounted no less than five free MG Live! concerts to the delight of music-loving Filipinos all over the country.

With MG Live! reinstated this Q4 2022 MG Philippines once again treats fans to a fun, engaging, and safe roadshow series that provides guests with easy access to the latest MG cars and SUVs, while enjoying the best OPM acts on the MG Live! concert stage.

MG Live! 2022 is ramped-up to provide a series of amplified roadshow events that are a cut above the rest.”

To celebrate the return of MG Live! and to drum up the excitement for this unique and much-awaited roadshow series, MG Philippines has activated a special raffle promo that gives fans a chance to take home premium gift items.

To join, customers simply need to visit these MG Live! activations on the following dates and register for a test drive around the MG Live! Drive and Win course:

• SM Marikina: October 21-23, 2022.
• Nuvali Solenad 1: November 4-6, 2022.
• Autofocus Pre-Christmas Test Drive Festival: November 10-13, 2022.

Each successful test drive taken at the MG Live! Drive and Win course is equivalent to one raffle entry, where lucky customers get the chance to win any of the following prizes: one Sony Playstation 5; two Apple Watch SEs; and three pairs of Apple Airpods Pro.

This October, MG Philippines also launches its “Cheers to Extraordinary” vehicle sales promo, offering special low down payment or cash discount deals on select, brand-new MG cars and SUVs.

This October 23, 4 p.m., at the SM Marikina ground floor main entrance, MG Live! 2022 kicks off with a performance from top OPM act This Band: an indie-pop rock outfit that has been blazing the charts with their hit single “Kahit Ayaw Mo Na” which has reached over 28 million collective listens and views on the band’s various online streaming channels.

This Band has also achieved local and regional acclaim, having bagged the Best Branded Program or Series Award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2020, and the Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist at the 2019 Awit Awards.

MG Live! 2022 continues on November 5, at the open activity center of Solenad 1, Nuvali, in Sta. Rosa Laguna, with a performance from legendary OPM act Parokya Ni Edgar at 5 p.m.

Recognized as one of the biggest bands in OPM history, now with over five million followers combined on their social media platforms, Parokya Ni Edgar continues to delight Filipino listeners with their unique musical style, garnering roughly two million monthly listeners on their Spotify channel.

Parokya Ni Edgar is a household name and has penned numerous songs that have endeared Filipinos all over the world to this one-of-a-kind, original Filipino musical act.

October is also a very special month for MG Philippines, as this period marks the brand’s local anniversary.

Now in its fourth year in the country under official distributor The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), MG Philippines has attained a significant brand achievement by officially crossing the 20,000 units sold threshold, with a total of 20,888 vehicles released nationwide as of Q3 2022.

Looking back, it can be seen that MG Philippines first reached the 10,000 car sales milestone in the middle of 2021. This was after the company had returned to the local market in October 2018 with the help of official distributor The Covenant Car Company, Inc.

MG Philippines lineup consists of six vehicles: the sporty MG 6 fastback sedan; the ever-popular ZS crossover SUV and its turbocharged sibling the ZST; the versatile and spacious MG RX5 SUV; the recently launched MG HS SUV that offers a premium drive, plush interiors, and elegant styling; and the MG 5 Sedan that is feature packed, spacious, and a class leader in dimensions and on-board tech for its segment.
