MIAS 2025: Lynk & Co PH debuts all-new 02

MANILA: Lynk & Co Philippines, under the distributorship of  United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated (UAAGI), has launched the all-new 02 fully electric crossover at the ongoing Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2025. 

The said model is the car brand’s latest entry into the local electric-powered crossover segment, and according to UAAGI, it is poised to shake up the market with its EV capabilities, interior comfort, and “sporty driving dynamics.” 

Let’s go over the specifications of the all-new Lynk & Co 02 EV to see what it is offering to prospective buyers. 

Exterior

Just like the other Lynk & Co nameplates available in the Philippines, the 02 assumes a sleek and modern design. Front and center on the car is the brand’s “The Next Day” design language, which is based on a futuristic-looking concept car of the same name. 

Complementing the sleek appearance of the Lynk & Co 02 is a set of  LED exterior fixtures, which include the “Dynamic Day Rays” daytime running lamps and “Mega City” taillights. The aforementioned are complemented by notable exterior features such as: 

• Ultra-violet coated glass sunroof
• A drag coefficient of 0.25 Cd
• Pneumatic dual-lock front hood
• Frameless door windows
• Two-tone 19-inch wheels
• 235/50 R19 tires

Interior

Inside the Lynk & Co 02 is a plush and well-designed cabin filled with plenty of creature comforts. 

Front and center of the vehicle’s dashboard is a 15.4-inch touchscreen boasting a maximum resolution of 2.5k. The said display also has a number of connectivity options, and it is linked to a 14-piece Harman Kardon speaker set. 

Most of the surfaces inside the EV crossover are clad in leather, while additional comfort and ambiance are provided by an automatic air-conditioning system and the brand’s Intelligent Infinity Light system. 

Other notable interior features of the Lynk & Co 02 include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Leather-wrapped, flat-bottom steering wheel
• 10-inch digital gauge cluster
• Wireless smartphone charging pad
• USB ports
• Folding rear seat armrest
• Electronic parking brake with auto hold
• Power-adjustable front seats

Safety

As of the 02 EV crossover’s launch at MIAS 2025, Lynk & Co Philippines has yet to share an extensive list of its safety gear. The brand, however, did say that it comes standard with a 540-degree view camera and a 16-point advanced driver-assist system. 

Powertrain

Propelling the Lynk & Co 02 is a rear-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor paired with a 66-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion (with nickel manganese cobalt) battery. The said system is linked to a single-speed automatic transmission, and it can generate up to 268 horsepower and 343 Newton-meters of torque. 

Concerning range, the 02 can cover up to 435 kilometers (km), according to the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure. It also features a fast-charging rate of 10-80 percent in just 30 minutes.

Price 

The Lynk & Co 02’s suggested retail price starts at P1.788 million. The model, however, does have an introductory price of P1.738 million for MIAS event-goers.

Apart from the launch of the Lynk & Co 02, the brand’s MIAS 2025 booth also displays the upcoming 08 EM-P sports utility vehicle. The said model is a plug-in hybrid with a range of over 1,000 kilometers.
