Mini highlights funky and futuristic design stylings of fully-electric lineup

MANILA: The future all-electric model family's ground-breaking design, dubbed Charismatic Simplicity, is first seen in the Mini: it concentrates on the fundamentals. Each new Mini model has a distinct personality that is conveyed in standout design cues and exudes originality with a strong brand identity. Another crucial component of the new design language is the use of sustainable materials.

“With our new Charismatic Simplicity design language, we are completely rethinking the iconic MINI. Our purist, progressive approach combines the simplicity of functional elements with the emotionality that MINI is renowned for,” Head of Mini Design Oliver Heilmer described. “We are convinced that the conscious reduction to a few, but expressive elements enable innovations that would have been unthinkable before.”

Mini Electric Interior 

The circular central instrument display, which is emblematic of Mini and is located in the center of the visually reduced interior, will be reimagined in the future model family as an OLED display. The first automaker in the world to provide a touch screen with a completely functional spherical surface is the Mini. The on-board monitor and instrument cluster functions are combined in the 240-millimeter-diameter OLED display. It looks especially high-quality because of the streamlined style and frameless appearance. The integrated infotainment and climate controls are likewise controlled via the new, streamlined user interface made possible by the touch control. Mini carries on the traditional design history of the vintage little car by using the minimalist dashboard as a platform for the circular central display.

The steering wheel of the following model family was significantly altered in addition to the central display. The two-spoke design is included in the standard version. In addition to the athletic form, the optional version also includes a distinctive fabric finish as a third component. The new MINI model family is inspirational thanks to its high-quality, sustainable diversity of colors and materials as well as its cutting-edge textile patterns. A repeating accent color, Vibrant Silver, adds a distinctive touch with its metallic sheen both inside and out.

The selection of seats is also wide-ranging. A bridge from the past to the future can be created by combining modern hues and designs with traditional ones like the houndstooth pattern. The attention to detail is especially evident in the laminated seat side panels. They add to the cozy feel of the interior, much as the first-ever armrests that were built into the chairs.

Light-alloy wheels that have undergone a thorough redesign also adhere to the new design language's principles. The forthcoming model family of MINI wheels shifts the emphasis away from the spoke structure's sculptural qualities and toward a visual layout with striking color contrasts. The outward-facing spokes further emphasize the size illusion created by this. With its rather compact, two-dimensional design, the streamlined wheel design contributes to greater aerodynamics and longer range.

MINI is already giving away hints about the revolutionary move the Charismatic Simplicity philosophy is taking with these cutting-edge design features. The new MINI design language perfectly unites the brand's historical DNA with quality, sustainability, and uncompromising reinvention.

The Mini Cooper Electric is the newest member of the Mini family to be released. The updated Mini 3-door, which comes in two power levels, is designed for pleasant electric driving. The Mini Cooper Electric is a symbol of the future in locally emission-free premium mobility because of its exhilaratingly nimble powertrain.

Both the MINI Cooper E, with a 135 kW output and the MINI Cooper SE, with a 160 kW output, in the new MINI family, offer full torque right out of the gate. It accelerates instantly and without pausing in order to change shifts. The MINI Cooper Electric's lithium-ion high-voltage battery is housed on the floor for improved road holding, weight distribution, and increased stability and agility.
