Mini jazzes up UK lineup with new special editions

MANILA: Mini has launched three new special editions across its entire range in the UK.

These special editions are the Resolute, Untold, and Untamed, with each featuring "exclusive design and equipment features, emphasizing each models’ individual characteristics," Mini boasted. 

The Resolute Edition is available on the Mini three- and five-door Hatch, Electric, and Convertible. The Untold Edition is paired with the Clubman, and Untamed Edition with the Countryman. 

A Rebel Green exterior color combined with a Pepper White roof finish and exterior mirror caps marks the Resolute Edition. For the Convertible, the soft top and exterior mirror caps are finished in black. 

Mini added that the exterior chrome accessories have been removed, a styling element that future Mini cars will wear. 

 

Meanwhile, many of the Mini cars' exterior bits are finished in Resolute Bronze. These include the headlight surrounds, radiator grille, rear lights, side scuttles, door handles, tailgate, air intakes in the front apron, and the fuel cap. 

The Electric features 17-inch alloy wheels in Electric Collection Spoke design, while 17-inch alloy wheels in Tentacle Spoke Black design are also offered across all models.

Inside, the Mini Resolute Edition cars feature Black Pearl and Light Chequered fabric/leatherette seats. Leather upholstery is available as an option. 

The equipment bundled with the Resolute Edition include LED interior lighting, Mini Driving Modes, and an eight-inch infotainment screen. 

Moving on to the Untold Edition for the Clubman, this is made unique by a Sage Green exterior and a predominately black John Cooper Works Aerodynamic Kit. 

The Clubman Untold Edition wears 18-inch Untold Spoke alloy wheels in Jet Black/Refined Brass, and striped graphics on the side scuttles. Piano-black door handles, exhaust tailpipes, Mini logos and model lettering, complete the Untold Edition exterior. 

Inside the Clubman Untold, illuminated accent strips and leather seats both finished in Sage Green are combined. The surrounds of the air vents are highlighted in Refined Brass and the bottom spoke of the Nappa sports leather steering wheel, as well as the floor mats, feature the edition emblem.

The Clubman Untold Edition is equipped with Adaptive LED Headlights, Mini Logo Projection, Mini Driving Modes, as well as the anthracite-colored roof lining and Interior Light Package.

Lastly, the Mini Countryman Untamed Edition boasts of a Momentum Grey metallic paintwork and accessories. These accessories are the lower air intake surround, air inserts in the front apron, and side skirts. 

Four diagonal stripes towards the bottom of the doors are highlighted in Frozen Bluestone. 18-inch alloy wheels in Untamed two-tone design with burnished surfaces have been developed exclusively for the edition.

The roof rails and the headlight housings of the Countryman Untamed Edition are also finished in black, along with the roof and exterior mirror caps.

Inside, the Countryman Untamed leather seats come in Highland Green, combined with blue and green contrast stitching. The accent strips in the cockpit and on the center console are painted in metallic Frozen Blue, while the door trim strips are in metallic Arctic Silver and the surrounds of the air vents in high-gloss black.
