Mitsubishi new crossover MPV to be revealed on November 12

MANILA: The unnamed Mitsubishi new Crossover MPV is set to be unveiled next week, November 12 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Besides a silhouetted teaser photo of the crossover MPV, Mitsubishi remained mum about the vehicle’s name, specs, and features. The only description that they gave is that it will come with a well-equipped package that features ample interior space and good driving experience.

Expect the new Mitsubishi vehicle to “unite[s> superior driving performance, tough and modern design like an SUV, the unique advantages of MPV that is relieved and has complete features, MMC has created a new model that drives the ambitions of its users worldwide."

Well, Mitsubishi does boast of having expertise in uniting SUV and MPV concepts into one vehicle. The Mitsubishi Delica with its sliding doors and 4WD trim does come to mind.

But judging by the teaser photo, which unmistakably features the automaker’s signature Dynamic Shield face and a raised ride height, it looks like a new generation of the Xpander or the Eclipse Cross.

But another hint can be deduced from the photo caption: ”YOUR NEW ADVENTURE BUDDY COMING SOON." Can it be a new generation of Mitsubishi Adventure?

We do think though that with our love for SUVs, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines will likely bring the yet to be named Mitsubishi Crossover MPV into our shores.
