Mitsubishi Set to Unveil New Compact SUV in August

MANILA: An all-new compact SUV will be unveiled by Mitsubishi Motors Corporation at the 30th Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show in August.

The announcement was made by Mitsubishi along with the release of teaser photos of the all-new compact SUV.

The new model could possibly be the production version of the Mitsubishi XFC Concept. 

The all-new compact SUV is the first of the new Mitsubishi SUVs to reach the ASEAN region, one of the company's key markets. A test unit of the XFC was spotted earlier this year and seems to be in direct competition with the Toyota Raize if size were to be a factor.

The all-new model, which draws on Mitsubishi's history and expertise in vehicle development, has a stunning yet durable, genuine SUV style, as well as functional features like easy handling, a spacious cabin, and versatile storage spaces.

Additionally, the all-new compact SUV offers peace of mind even when navigating rugged terrain or flooded roads thanks to extensive testing and tuning in the road environment of the ASEAN region.

The all-new compact SUV comes with the newly developed Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium system.

Mitsubishi Motors and Yamaha Corporation, a manufacturer of musical instruments and audio equipment, agreed to work together because of their shared appreciation for craftsmanship.

The new sound system in the all-new compact SUV provides a quality, immersive sound experience with unique tuning designed for the acoustic characteristics of the interior, making driving even more exciting, comfortable, and fun for everyone.

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines will be bringing the Mitsubishi XFC Concept to the Newport Mall in Pasay City on June 16 to 18 to give the public a closer look at its design and styling before the launch of the production version.

If the all-new compact SUV is indeed the production version of the XFC Concept, should we expect that it will also arrive in the local market shortly after its launch in Indonesia?
