MPT Mobility Acquires AACI to Expand Tech-Based Mobility Solution Offerings

MANILA: MPT Mobility Corporation, the innovations arm of the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), has acquired Assist and Assistance Concept Inc. (AACI) from AXA Partners Holding SA.

The acquisition affirms MPT Mobility Corporation's commitment to upgrading the mobility landscape in the Philippines by offering comprehensive technology-driven solutions to address transport and mobility challenges and improve the travel experience of motorists.

Since 2011, AACI, an established provider of roadside assistance by subscription, has been doing business in the Philippines. Aside from its flagship roadside assistance solutions, AACI also provides Travel and Medical Assistance to meet the diverse needs of its valued clientele.

“We look forward to coming under the management and guidance of MPT Mobility. With the combination of our expertise and the MPT Mobility capabilities, our clients will benefit from a holistic mobility ecosystem,” AACI Chief Executive Officer Ronald Carrillo said.

The acquisition also strengthens AACI's position as a leader in the roadside assistance market while empowering MPT Mobility Corporation's ability to further develop its mobility solutions for key urban areas across the Philippines.

ACCI will be under MPT Mobility Corporation's Smart Mobility Solutions Division led by Vice President Mark Richmund De Leon.
