Mr. Noriyuki Takakura is the new President of Honda Cars PH

MANILA: Replacing Toshio Kuwahara, Mr. Noriyuki Takakura has been appointed as the new President and General Manager of Honda Cars PH beginning April 1, 2017. Prior to this, Mr. Noriyuki Takakura was the Managing Director and CEO of Honda Australia for 4 years. He holds 15 years of diversified experience in product planning, marketing, and sales by working with Honda.

Mr. Toshio Kuwahara will be handling the position of General Director of Honda Vietnam Co. Ltd. (HVN), where he will be responsible for automobile and motorcycle business units. As Mr. Kuwahara has a vast experience of working with Honda, his expertise will help in improving the business operations of Honda in Vietnam.

Mr. Kuwahara was the key person behind launching some of the prominent models of Honda, which include BR-V, HR-V, Legend, Mobilio and Civic Type R. Let’s see how Honda blends its operations under the supervision of Mr. Takukara and what new things are introduced by the manufacturer under the new supervision.
