myToyota Connect brings suite of connected services to owners
MANILA: Leading mobility company Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has unveiled its newest suite of connected services designed to offer Toyota owners in the Philippines a completely new level of convenience and personalization. TMP is poised to continuously boost its CASE (Connected, Automated, Shared, and Electrified) mobility offerings in the nation.

Users who access myToyota Connect using the myToyota app have access to a plethora of data, including vehicle status, driving data, and daily trip summaries, enabling better fleet management and maintenance.
The capability to display the vehicle's location even with its engine off allows users to verify the most recent location of their vehicle, tracking the vehicle simpler.
Additionally, myToyota Connect PH features a geofencing capability that notifies the user when their car enters or exits a defined area or set of limits that the user has established.
By helping users get to know their cars better, myToyota Connect also makes vehicle maintenance and care simpler and more precise. Depending on the vehicle's actual mileage, the program sends users timely notifications. This can make it easier and more convenient for customers to plan routine maintenance. Meanwhile, the myToyota app makes it simple for users to schedule a service appointment at their favorite dealership or service center.
AXA Philippines is the sole insurance provider for the Connected Toyota Insure — which is another feature of myToyota Connect in addition to these services. In the country, this is the first Pay How You Drive (PHYD) insurance solution that uses driving habits and mileage data from linked Toyota vehicles to identify good drivers and grant them a discount on their renewal price.
This service gives customers peace of mind since it guarantees high-quality repair work in the event of an accident with complete insurance coverage through the Toyota Insure Program and enables them to save money with a renewal discount depending on their safe driving. Additionally, the program encourages cautious driving among Toyota consumers, thus promoting safety.

myToyota Connect is now available in Hiace variants equipped with the connected device and will soon be part of the 2022 Toyota RAV4’s improvements, which will be rolled out on November 24.
