  • During the final race of the 2024 season, visitors from all over the world had the unique opportunity to see the Ariya Nismo EV (electric vehicle) for the first time in the region.

“Formula E represents the pinnacle of innovation in electric technology, and the Nissan Ariya Nismo is engineered to bring that same trackside excitement and spine-tingling sensation to regular roads, delivering an unparalleled driving experience,” the carmaker said in a press release.

    European-market Nissan Ariya Nismo EV

The European-market Nissan Ariya Nismo EV comes with a number of improved parts and offers Nismo tuning, which produces powerful, yet smooth acceleration — making the crossover easy to control.

Per Nissan, the all-electric version of the souped-up nameplate gets a tuned vehicle dynamic control and a tweaked e-4ORCE system — which in combination with its grippy tires — delivers better power and torque distribution to the wheels.

As a result, the Nissan Ariya Nismo EV provides a continuous G-feel and linear acceleration even at high speed.

To give owners handling and cornering usually reserved for motorsports, the battery-electric vehicle’s aforementioned e-4ORCE system maximizes the performance of both front and rear suspension systems.

Further, it uses finely tuned brake pads that give reliable stopping power.

“Nismo is back in Europe! We are bringing this exciting brand back into our market with a new and refreshed model. As we push forward the electrification of our lineup, it’s essential that we continue to offer elite and exciting models to customers and Nismo enthusiasts as well,” Nissan Europe Marketing and Sales Divisional Vice President Mayra González said.

“Ariya Nismo strikes the perfect balance of the immediate response and acceleration of an all-electric car with the mechanical fine-tuning of a sports car, resulting in an outstanding car for day-to-day driving. With its striking design and stance, get ready to stand out from the crowd!”

No mention as to when Nissan will begin selling the Ariya Nismo EV in Europe. However, its United Kingdom website already has a webpage for the electric crossover and a link to keep interested buyers informed.
